And as an organization, we ensure that everyone is treated equally with dignity and respect.

At Castro Hoodies group we believe it is our duty to contribute to the development of our society through working with and supporting the communities we’re in through free educational programs, assisting in humanitarian aid, and taking part in community initiatives.

CASTRO CENTER FOR EXELLENCE IN BAT YAM - GROUP'S FLAGSHIP PROJECT

The purpose of this initiative was to foster academic and social excellence among high schoolers in Bat Yam, a city located in the center of Israel, where Castro HQ resides. We achieve this through investing in the city’s high schools for tenth and twelfth graders. It is our goal to help the students succeed and meet their academic goals to prepare them for future academic opportunities.

In the last decade of the Center’s existence, more than 3,000 students have participated with 100% of students completing 4-5 units of mathematics. In recent years, the project has also been expanded to the city of Jaffa with [name of school] joining the roster, with the intent of bringing Jewish-Israeli and Arab-Israeli youth closer together.

Through our promise, we support several associations, such as the Erwin Association, which helps place at-risk youth within our workforce.
We are also deeply invested with the Shkolu Tov Association, which connects people with intellectual disabilities to our in-store teams.

Our contributions include sending clothing to organizations for battered women, associations for at-risk youth, and to the oncology departments of several children's hospitals. In addition, the Castro Hoodies Group contributes to non-profit organizations of soldiers with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), bereaved families, as well as families of children fighting rare diseases. We recognize the need for support within our families to ensure strong and close communities.

As creators and leaders, it’s our obligation to consider how we make, sell and re-use our products. We take a full-circle approach with our focus on fabric recycling. A handful of collections were produced entirely out of recycled and regenerated materials.

We started making clothes with environmentally friendly techniques where we use organic cotton. At least 50% of our garments are made entirely of organic cotton and natural colors, eliminating toxic chemicals for our consumers and the environment.

In our denim collections we focus on water conservation with 70% of water being saved from the production of any garment.
